“What needs to DIE in me today, so that I can become the man I want to be tomorrow?”
I was talking to a client the other day about CHANGE. About letting go of ‘once was’ for WHAT’S TO COME.
Previous success DOES NOT guarantee future success. It helps because it gives us some proof and evidence that we CAN succeed, but too often we get caught up in the past.
“I should’ve done this”
“I should’ve been that…”
Sometimes we hold on so tightly to what we have, that we’re not allowing God to bless us with something BETTER.
We get too caught up in GOOD, OKAY, MEDIOCRE...that we settle for the good and never taste the GREATNESS we were meant for.
We all want to be THE GUY right?
The guy who’s got the loving family, the booming business, the confidence, the success, the admiration of his peers, basically the GUY everyone else strives to be more like…
But let’s be HONEST, that GUY is a version of ourselves that has a different set of habits.
He’s operating with an upgraded system, and he holds himself to a higher standard.
And if we’re to continue with this brutal honesty, I think it’s fair to say that WE DON’T THINK think that lifestyle really attainable.
BECAUSE we’re making that assumption based on our current operating system.
We can’t see ourselves achieving these great accomplishments and living this HAVE IT ALL lifestyle because our habits and values don’t align with THAT GUY.
We don’t have the confidence HE has.
We don’t have the swagger HE has.
And it’s all a lie.
It’s a lie we tell ourselves because we’re afraid to change.
We’re afraid to GIVE UP WHAT WE HAVE TODAY, for the POSSIBILITY OF SOMETHING BETTER TOMORROW.
What are you holding on to that’s not serving you?
What stories are you constantly repeating to yourself that’s holding you back from something BETTER?
What are you gripping so tightly that’s preventing you from opening up your palms to receive God’s blessings and gifts?
Be real HONEST, and ask yourself this powerful question:
“What needs to die in me today, so I can become the man I’m destined to be TOMORROW”
I’m challenging YOU to face your fears.
Look in the mirror and be BRUTALLY FUCKN HONEST WITH YOURSELF.
No games, no more lies, no excuses, no more BS.
A lot of you are asking about coaching with me, well there it is.
If you can’t take this conversation seriously, then you do NOT have what it takes to work with me.
If you can’t take a few minutes of your time to reflect on the seriousness of your situation, then I can NOT help you.
So what’s it going to be?
“What needs to die in you today, so you can become the person you’re destined to be tomorrow?”
